4 th OF JULY DINGHY PARADE
Theme
“IN THE SPIRIT OF AMERICA”
This is your chance to kick off the “4 th OF JULY” by decorating your dinghy to this years theme “IN THE SPIRIT OF AMERICA”. Let your spirit fly and your imagination run wild. Just about anything goes with this theme. From early American to modern day it all fits. I can see it now, early native Americans, pilgrims, settlers, and on up through time to modern day Americans, all floating by the judges, competing for those, “oh so coveted,” trophies.
So get out the dinghy and the RED, WHITE, and BLUE and lets get the party started. This event is open to the general public, be it from the water side or the land, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. The dinghy parade will be organized by the Power fleet, and judged by last years winners. The boats will assemble at E dock, and judging starts at 12:00. No advanced registration required. We’ll get your info as you pass the judges. I can’t make it any easer than that. There will be a-1st, 2 nd ,3 rd place trophy handed out to the winners at 4:00 back at the club.

Currently, we are in the process of putting together a kayak fishing tournament, sponsored by our club, and open to the general public. We are hoping to get the support and backing of Brent Torgeson [OEX-kayak fishing]. He sells kayaks and also organizes kayak fishing tournaments for the kayak fishing enthusiast. At this point it’s “ a work in progress”, however we should see some results in the near future.
