August 30th, Chula Vista Yacht Club will be hosting it's 9th annual RACE YOUR HOME regatta. This race is the club's signature event of the year. Over twenty boats are expected to barge the starting line and sprint downwind to the finish line in Chula Vista channel. Year's ago over a few beers, Dick Wold and Glen Burnes developed the race to encourage live-aboard boat owners to get out and enjoy their boats at least once a year. Whether your a live-aboard or part timer, please make plans to join us Saturday, August 30th. After Race party will be held upstairs at the club and all participates are invited.
